Will Taylor’s The Living Score | Beethoven

Featuring a live performance of the String Trio #3 in C minor, improvised music, spoken word with Beethoven’s letters, poetry inspired by his music and audience Q & A.

Imagine a casual concert experience that takes you deep into the life and soul of the music and its creators.

Something presented in an unconventional venue where guests can enjoy a glass of wine, acoustic music and a few passionate spoken word recitations of poetry, letters, and short stories.

Think of NPR’s “The Moth” or “Selected Shorts”, but with live music and audience participation through Q & A and shares.

Spoken Word with Megan Weaver

Megan Weaver is a writer & director specializing in form-fracturing ensemble stories about death, love and growing up. She’s directed and performed original theatrical works on historic tall ships, a massive public art sculpture, in an icehouse, fountains, community gardens, elevators, apartments and over Zoom – in addition to directing in “traditional” theaters (although never “traditional” plays). Current projects include a surrealist music video with Claire Hamilton’s Psychic Seatbelt, a magic-realist screenplay based on Megan’s award-winning play Cause of Failure, and an all-women rock opera about former Texas governor Ann Richards. By day Megan ghostwrites content for corporate clients about collaboration, inclusion, leadership and authenticity. www.meganweaver.com.

Will Taylor
I've been a professional violinist and Austin music icon for over 20 years, jamming with folks such as Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Shawn Colvin, Shiny Ribs, Guy Forsyth, the Turtle Island String Quartet at Town Hall in New York City and so many more. I'm a lover of the outdoors and the magic of bringing people into nature for life-changing moments of connection and musical bliss. I have been a concert presenter for over 20 years and in 2006 produced a concert of the Beatles White Album that was broadcast on radio and drew over 1600 folks for two shows. You can learn more about me at StringsAttached.org, StringsintheWoods.com and about my love of community outreach through StringsAttachedCares.org
