Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Nils Lofgren hits the road this May with an all-new hard-hitting studio album featuring a dozen dazzling, forceful songs and first band tour in over 15 years. The Nils Lofgren Band shows will include tracks from his new album Blue With Lou, produced by Nils and his wife Amy, out April 26. The album features 6 songs Nils wrote with the legendary Lou Reed along with new originals from Nils. He’ll be joined on the tour by a great cast of old friends and stellar musicians. Andy Newmark on drums, Kevin McCormick on bass, and Cindy Mizelle on vocals, all featured on the new album, along with Nils’ brother and Grin bandmate Tom Lofgren on guitars, keyboards and vocals.
